Left: Madison Branstad is crowned as the 2021 Winnebago County Fair Queen last Thursday evening by 2019 Fair Queen Katelin Adams, left. Adams had an extended reign as Winnebago County Fair Queen, after the queen coronation was called off last summer because of the pandemic. Branstad, who is the 16-year-old daughter of Andrew and Keniesa Branstad of Leland, stayed busy at the fair by presenting awards and participating as an exhibitor herself. She will represent Winnebago County as she competes in the Iowa State Fair Queen competition next month, as the State Fair returns August 12-22.
