Pool opens after one week delay

The Buffalo Center Swimming Pool opened for the season on Sunday, June 2, which was little bit later than the expected date of Memorial Day, May 27. Pool Manager Sarah Paulson says they had to push things back by a few days because a part was needed for the chlorine machine. Now that everything is up and running, Paulson says they had a busy first week at the pool. Some of the activity at the pool included lifeguard training, pictured, as Ree Pederson from Lake Mills provided and in-service training for Buffalo Center pool staff and training for new lifeguards last Wednesday.
