In its 11th year, Hunting with Heroes gives thanks and a whole lot more to area vets

As the 6 p.m. whistle blew on main street of Lakota on November 11, 2021, there continued to be a hustle and bustle that this small town may have never seen in its over 125 years of existence. While the 20-30 mph winds may have tried to stifle those sounds, they were not to be erased – these were the sounds of thanks, of appreciation, and of sincere gratitude that were being shared by over 30 volunteers from local charity “Hunting with Heroes” with deserving veterans that had traveled far and wide to join them on that night.
