Local COVID-19 numbers for May 18-24

Four positive COVID-19 tests were recorded in Winnebago County last week, for a 7-day positivity rate of 2%. Kossuth County reported just two new positive tests, for a 7-day positivity rate of 1%. One additional death was reported in Kossuth County – the first in a month – for a total of 65. Deaths in Winnebago County remain unchanged at 31.

An additional 127 people have completed their COVID-19 vaccination series in Winnebago County, for a total of 4,057. Another 120 people have completed their vaccination series in Kossuth County, for a total of 5,775.
